Today’s Inquirer also carries a news about some unholy amount of logs cut from what’s remaining of the forests of Sierra Madre.  It scares me.  Guys, let us do what we can to actualize what we’ve been saying about environmental action.  Now, more than ever, is the time to actually DO something, to translate into action the thoughts we have been cooking inside our heads.  We’ve seen time and again how our government has failed us in every respect.  Ours is the here and now.  We cannot afford to be by-standers anymore.  Let us start becoming active partners in the work of conservation and sustainability efforts.
