Alongside Christy Fermin are Jan-jan‘s parents.
This is insane. It escapes me how and why these people see an angel when the world says no. Or do we have to experience Willie Revillame’s kabastusan first hand to feel honored in the way that Fermin describes it. Would that shared experience make us understand them better? I can only shake my head in disgust.
Incidentally, I also caught this bit about angry parents over airport security in the US. The Today Show reports that some parents deemed it too much the way airport security frisks their kids. They cried foul and officials are now reviewing their policies.
One is underprotective while the other may be a touch over. But, in any given day, between the two sets of parents mentioned above, I’d pick the latter over the former.
